Welcome to my blog.

I must admit that I wasnt sure what I was going to write about and since this is my first post, I will keep it short and sweet. This blog, "Events...What's it all about?" will discuss planning an event from the client's perspective. As an Event Planner, I think that customer service plays a large role in our success. Although, I reconize the importance of making a living and agree that  we as event planners should receive recognition for our hard work , what is also important is that the client's needs does not get lost in the process.  Interaction with the client on a regular basis is very important.  

There are some clients who do not want to be a part of the planning process, they just provide you with a budget and allow you to create a dream. However, it does not minimize their desire to have a successful event.

So, how important it is to meet the needs of the client?   We would love to hear your thoughts.
